The vote for the new leader of the Wildrose Party resumes Tuesday after it was suspended briefly for an adjustment to the process.

Voting started on Monday but party organizers said some members were unhappy with being forced to rank all three candidates in order of preference.

The leadership organizing committee agreed it was a valid concern, the party says.

The process is being changed to allow members to rank one, two or three candidates.

The ballots that had already been cast will be considered valid.

Drew Barnes, Linda Osinchuk and Brian Jean are running for the party’s leadership.

The new leader will be announced on March 28.
