RCMP renew call for tips on Lethbridge woman homicide 1 year ago

As the one-year anniversary approaches, RCMP are renewing calls for clues in the homicide of a Lethbridge woman.
Victoria Joanne Crow Shoe, 43, was last seen Aug. 31, 2015.
While she was reported missing to Lethbridge police on Sept. 15 of that year, her body was recovered two days earlier from the shore of the Oldman River Reservoir at the Windy Point day use area near Pincher Creek.

"Ms. Crow Shoe was known to be living at the Lethbridge shelter and would often be seen at the library," RCMP said in a release Monday.
Police hope to learn of Crow Shoe's activities between Aug. 31 and Sept. 13, 2015.
She is described as a five-foot-seven-inch tall, 160-pound, Aboriginal woman with a medium build. She has brown eyes and brown shoulder-length hair with highlights.
Crow Shoe was last seen wearing black pant and a hoodie, while carrying an over-the-shoulder duffel bag.
