Police are investigating after a driver hit two women in their 20s in the city's southeast.
The women were taken to Foothills hospital after their injuries were deemed critical, but non-life-threatening, according to police.
Both were conscious and breathing when emergency crews arrived. It's not known whether they were in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The investigation into the crash continues, but alcohol was not a factor and police said the driver is cooperating.
