Calgary restaurant badly damaged but nobody hurt after car crashes into building

Police say nobody was hurt but a restaurant was seriously damaged after a car crashed into the building Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened at Trio Restaurant and Cafe at 1504 16th Avenue S.W.

Photos show a lightly-damaged black Dodge car that had smashed through the front wall of the establishment. 

It's not known if the restaurant was open at the time.

Police said no charges have been laid, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
