Elderly woman trapped under car in the cold taken to hospital in critical condition
A woman believed to be in her 80s is in life-threatening condition at Foothills hospital after a car rolled over her legs and trapped her out in the cold.

A woman believed to be in her 80s is in life-threatening condition at Foothills hospital after a car rolled over her legs and trapped her out in the cold.
The call, from a family member who found the woman, came in at 1:45 p.m. on Monday from a rural residence east of Didsbury.
According to EMS, it's believed the woman was exiting the vehicle when it rolled and trapped her legs. It's not known how long she was under the vehicle, but EMS speculate it was about an hour.
The woman was flown to hospital in Calgary by STARS air ambulance and is suffering from both her injuries and exposure to the cold.
