Opioid overdose and drug poisoning has already claimed thousands of lives in this province. In February, CBC Calgary published a week-long series to highlight the people and policymakers searching for a way out of the crisis. 

We documented the fundamental shift that Alberta is taking in the way addictions are treated in this province. 

Will it help or hurt? 

As we told these stories, we sought to open a conversation the community, collecting your insight and personal experiences through an online form. That form is now closed but we welcome feedback and suggestions anytime by email at calgarynewstips@cbc.ca.

We are working to summarize the comments to reflect what we heard publicly and will publish that here. We'll also share details with the rest of the CBC Calgary newsroom so it can inform our ongoing coverage.

The series
