Stuart McLean has died at age 68 after a battle with melanoma.
Known as the host of CBC Radio's The Vinyl Café and an award-winning humorist, the news has saddened fans across the country — including in Calgary.

Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi fondly referred to McLean as "our greatest storyteller," and said sitting down with him led to "one of the most Canadian moments of my life."
