RCMP in Calgary are hoping to reunite several stolen saddles with their owners, who are likely in Alberta or Saskatchewan.

The saddles were discovered in a raid on a rural property by auto theft investigators.

"There is indications these saddles may have been stolen out of Saskatchewan as well as Alberta. RCMP have been canvassing other detachments and utilizing police databases to locate the owners of the remaining property, to no avail," RCMP said in a release Thursday.

RCMP released photos of the saddles. Some have marks or brands that might identify the owner.

To claim a saddle, owners should contact the Southern Alberta Auto Theft at 403-701-1462 or at Lindsey.ANDERSON@rcmp-grc.gc.ca If the property has not been claimed by the end of February, RCMP say it will be donated or disposed of.
