Sheryl Crow, Our Lady Peace, Billy Talent among 50 artists at Stampede Coca-Cola Stage this year

The lineup for the Coca-Cola Stage at the Calgary Stampede this year promises to be bigger than ever, with more than 50 artists rocking out from July 5 to July 15.

The lineup for the Coca-Cola Stage at the Calgary Stampede this year promises to be bigger than ever, with more than 50 artists rocking out from July 5 to July 15.

"With the success of last year's festival-style lineup, we knew we had to do it again in 2018, bringing fresh music and great artists to the Coca-Cola Stage all day long," said the Stampede's programming production manager Samara Lastiwka.

"The lineup is stacked with homegrown and international headliners that will leave audiences wanting more."

Here's some of the big names.

Alexisonfire: July 5

​This Canadian band hailing from St. Catharines, Ont., will open up Stampede this year with a performance at 8 p.m. during Sneak-a Peek.


Elle King: July 6

The Stampede says this American singer-songwriter "blends pop, blues, and rock'n'roll into a sound that's all her own."


​Broken Social Scene: July 7

This band is a mash-up of well-known Canadian artists. The indie group identifies as a musical collective — including as few as six and as many as 19 members — formed by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning.


Daniel Caesar: July 8

This Canadian R&B and soul singer-songwriter has taken the world by storm, with two recent Grammy nominations under his belt.


​The Rural Alberta Advantage: July 9

You'd think they're from Alberta, but these Toronto-based rockers have been touring their sound across Canada since 2005.


Phantogram: July 9

​The duo of Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel have been said to have "taken their sound in an intriguing, darkly shaded direction" on their third album, which is aptly named Three.


Our Lady Peace: July 10

Consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Steve Mazur and Jason Pierce, this group is one of the most successful bands in Canada today. 


Sheryl Crow: July 11

If it makes you happy ... come check out this classic American artist who dominated the radio waves in the late '90s.


Walk off the Earth: July 12

Known for their quirky covers, these Canadian rockers also have a stable of originals that will have you toe tapping.


Lights: July 13

This Canadian artist just picked up Pop Album of the Year at the last Junos, held in Vancouver.


Too Many Zooz: July 14

​This New York City trio has worked with artists like Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks, and are know for bringing the sound of the street to their music.


The Funk Hunters: July 14

Formed after meeting at film school in Western Canada, the group's electronic music is influenced by old school soul, funk and hip-hop. 


Billy Talent: July 15

These Canadian rockers have sold millions of albums worldwide since the release of their self-titled debut in 2003.
