Man runs into Chinook mall after being shot in southwest Calgary

Calgary police are looking for suspects after a shooting victim ran into Chinook Centre mall late Sunday night.

The 30-year-old man rushed into a washroom at the Chinook Centre cinema to treat a gunshot wound around 9 p.m., according to police, where he was met by officers and taken to hospital. 

Police believe it was a targeted shooting that happened on Fifth Street southwest behind the mall.

Investigators are looking for four suspects who were seen leaving the area in a red vehicle.

The victim was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
