A man has been treated for a gunshot wound after flagging down a Calgary Transit bus for help.

Police are investigating how he got shot

A man has been treated for a gunshot wound after flagging down a Calgary Transit bus for help.

The driver dropped off the man in front of the Peter Lougheed hospital around 10 p.m. on Monday.

Police say he had been shot in the leg.

It's believed the scene of the incident was near the hospital.

The victim is in stable condition.

Police are still investigating.
