Thieves sprayed customers with fire extinguisher in Calgary jewelry store heist
Police seek suspects who also threatened staff at Northland Mall store with firearm
Calgary police are looking for any phone or dashcam video of two men who sprayed customers with a fire extinguisher during a robbery at a jewelry store in Northland Mall on Monday.
Two men wearing masks also threatened staff with a firearm as they robbed Tany's Jewellery about 11:45 a.m. in the northwest Calgary mall, police said in a release.
The robbers got away with several items and left in a black Lincoln sedan, police said.
EMS treated people at the scene who were affected by the fire extinguisher spray.
The first suspect is a Caucasian man who was wearing a light grey hoodie and ball cap with the hood up and a surgical mask covering his face. He was also wearing blue jeans and black gloves and carried a black backpack.
The second suspect wore a red hard hat, a construction vest, blue jeans and light coloured gloves. He was carrying a black bag.
