Gilchrist says while staff isn't particularly skilled at explaining dishes to new visitors, Nirvana has one of the best butter chickens in Calgary and all the dishes come with uniquely-prepared seasonings and spice blends.
"Nirvana remains good on the food and sketchy on the service," said Gilchrist.
He said one of their real strengths is the diversity of the vegetarian dishes, from lentils and chickpeas to dahl.
