A mama bobcat took a snooze outside a northwest Calgary home, which caused two house cats to be a tad confused.

We know everyone is desperate for a break from economic issues and COVID-19 news, so we thought we'd share these amazing photos of a bobcat that Stephen Morrison snapped near Nose Hill Park in northwest Calgary.

And speaking of good news, as part of our annual CBC/Radio-Canada Food Bank Drive, we're asking Calgarians to share their stories of how they showed or received an act of kindness to cheer up and inspire others —and perhaps win a local prize pack.

Here are some of the wonderful stories we've received so far:

So please share your story in an online form here or by using the hashtag #CBCFeedsYYC on Instagram or Twitter. You can also share your act of kindness by calling and leaving a message for the Calgary Eyeopener at 403-521-6209 or the Homestretch 403-521-6244.

And now for a little nature break…
