Murder charges laid in Coventry deaths

A Calgary man has been charged with second degree murder after two men were attacked in a northeast home.

A Calgary man has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder after two men were attacked in a northeast home.

Police announced the charges against Wei Si Situ, 38, late Tuesday night.

Chao Situ, 36, was found dead when police arrived at the Coventry Crescent N.E. home on Saturday evening. He is not related to the accused. Ha To Huynh, 60,died Sunday after being taken to the hospital.

Both died from blunt force trauma, police said.

Police said they are still trying to determine a motive but don't believe the deaths were gang-related.

Two small children were in the residence and are now staying with their mother in a safe place, police said.
