Reported moose attack in Airdrie deemed medical emergency, say RCMP

RCMP now say they are attending a medical emergency in Airdrie, Alta., that involves a moose in the area after issuing a wildlife warning for a "moose attack" in the city just north of Calgary.

RCMP now say they are attending a medical emergency in Airdrie, Alta., that involves a moose in the area after issuing a wildlife warning for a "moose attack" in the city just north of Calgary.

Close to 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, RCMP said they were called to the scene of the incident on Farries Drive in the city's southeast. 

Airdrie RCMP are asking residents to give the moose their space, and will provide updates when available.
