4 fire departments responded but home fully involved on arrival, 1 firefighter injured
A house northeast of Millarville is destroyed after a fire Wednesday afternoon, fire officials tell CBC News.
Firefighters from four departments, Turner Valley, Black Diamond, Priddis and Okotoks, responded to the blaze about one kilometre northeast of Millarville at 1:30 p.m but it was already fully involved.
No one was at home at the time, but one firefighter received minor injuries.
Crews remained on scene checking for hot spots while the investigation continued.
