May long weekend: Campers brave rainy Victoria Day forecast
Highways from Calgary packed as people head out of town with tents, RVs, bikes and ATVs

Traffic has been heavy on the Trans-Canada Highway as people head west for the mountains on Friday with their bikes, ATVs and boats in tow.

Daryl Michelin said he hopes the rain won't dampen his family's fun.
"I think most Albertans are expectant that the May long weekend will bring some nastier weather. It certainly doesn't come as a great surprise,” he said.
