An arrest warrant has been issued in connection to a Lethbridge hit-and-run that sent a man to hospital in serious condition.
Dylan Ivan Sokol, 24, has been charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, operating a motor vehicle while prohibited and causing an accident resulting in bodily harm.
The charges come after a 37-year-old man was admitted to Chinook Regional Hospital with injuries sustained in a hit-and-run on Aug. 12, the Lethbridge Police Service said in a news release.
The man had pulled over after an altercation with another driver, who was in a red Volkswagen Jetta, at the intersection of 10th Street N. and Third Avenue N.
Police said the ensuing confrontation led to the victim being run over in the street.
