Hillary Clinton booked to speak in Calgary
Unofficial front-runner in race for U.S. Democratic presidential nomination coming March 6
Hillary Clinton is coming to Calgary next month for a public speaking engagement.
The presumptive front runner for the U.S. Democratic presidential nomination will give the keynote address at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre on March 6 as part of the Global Perspectives series produced by tinePublic Inc.
The former U.S. Secretary of State, U.S. Senator and First Lady is widely expected to make a second bid for the White House in 2016, although she has not confirmed she will run.
“Clinton played a central role in restoring America's standing in the world, reasserting the United States as a Pacific power, imposing crippling sanctions on Iran and North Korea, responding to the Arab Awakening and negotiating a ceasefire in the Middle East,” said tinePublic in a written release.
