Another bout of heavy rain is causing flash flooding in some parts of Calgary on Monday afternoon.

Underpasses beneath Ninth Avenue were flooded at Macleod Trail and First Street S.E. around 4:30 p.m.

Pooling water was collecting on Memorial Drive near the Bridgeland C-Train station.

It wasn't just downtown and the inner city that were having issues though, and drivers are urged to use caution during the afternoon commute.

Some might not even make it onto the roads.

It's all just getting a bit much for some, with weather watches and alerts happening nearly every day. But despite the plea, we'll continue to let you know when the weather is most foul.

The severe thunderstorm warning for Calgary was lifted shortly after 5 p.m. but a watch remains in effect. In other words, don't bank on sunshine for the rest of the night.
