The population of a temporary neighbourhood set up for High River evacuees is expected to double by the end of the week.

Saddlebrook, just north of the southern Alberta town, already has 240 people displaced by the June flood living in trailers.

Dorm-style accommodations for singles are already open. Family suites are opening up this week.
