The Olympic Games Paris 2024 are coming to CBC, and a whole lot of fun is coming to Calgary! Get into the Olympic spirit at these upcoming events.
FanFest | July 26-28
Cheer on Team Canada at this jam-packed weekend of family-friendly fun! Head over to Stephen Avenue for competition viewing, athlete appearances, live musical performances, sport demonstrations and activations from Team Canada partners.
At the CBC Calgary tent (July 26 and 27 only)
- "Call it Live!" Step into our pop-up CBC studio, take a seat in the reporter's chair, and call an Olympic event just like a real sports broadcaster!
- Record Your Own Station ID: Be the voice of CBC! Record your very own Olympic-themed station ID and cheer on Team Canada. Choose from a variety of scripts and let your enthusiasm shine.
- Exclusive Giveaways: Participate in either activity to receive a limited-edition CBC Olympic pin. Take part in both activities and you'll be entered into a draw to win some awesome prizes.

Olympics Watch Party
You're invited to an Olympics viewing party! Join the excitement of the B-Boys competition to cheer on Team Canada's first Olympic breaking athlete, Philip Kim. After the stream, stick around for an open cypher. Presented by CBC Calgary and The Breaks YYC, in partnership with Calgary Public Library.
