Music and performance filled Calgary's City Hall during this year's ImaginAsian Market during Chinook Blast. Over the February 9 weekend, Calgary's Asian communities came together to celebrate Lunar New Year.

From vendors selling cultural products, an evening lantern parade and cultural music and dance performances, over 35 communities participated in the festival hosted by volunteers.

CBC Calgary joined the celebrations to chat with attendees about what they enjoy most about Lunar New Year.

The event also launched CBC Calgary's annual Asian Changemakers nominations for Asian Heritage Month in May.
