Woman struck with handgun during robbery at Chinook Centre
Police looking for 2 suspects, victim did not suffer major injuries
Calgary police are looking for two men after a woman was robbed and struck with a handgun outside Chinook Centre.
Det. Andy Nguyen, said the victim told police she was approached by a man who took her purse after showing her the weapon.

"She was struck on the face with the weapon, although she declined EMS," he said.
The incident took place outside of the Pottery Barn store on the east side of the mall, shortly after 10 p.m.
About 10 minutes later, a man was robbed of his wallet on the west side of the mall, police say.
Police are looking for two suspects:
- Black male wearing camouflage pants, a camouflage jacket and a hoodie. He had a slim build and was approximately six feet, two inches tall.
- Black male wearing a black and navy blue hoodie, glasses. He was about five feet, 11 inches tall with a medium build.
Nguyen said the incident is concerning, not only because of the weapon, but because the victim in the first incident was struck.
At 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, he said units were scouring the area along with the police helicopter.
