Calgary Zoo's baby giraffe makes debut
'Over the course of the weekend they got very brave and decided to venture out from the back area'

The baby girl was born on Thursday to parents Carrie, 22, and her much younger sire, Nabo, aged 5.

The female calf had been bonding in the back with her mom since birth, but decided to come out into the public area on Sunday.
Daddy's little girl?
"Over the course of the weekend they got very brave and decided to venture out from the back area," said zoo spokesperson Trish Exton-Parder.
She said the mom and calf are doing really well, but it seems the little one is daddy's little girl.
