Ward 7 includes downtown and many inner-city communities to the north and west, up to and including the University of Calgary.

It has an open race — meaning there is no incumbent city councillor running for re-election.

Election results from this ward are expected to begin coming in shortly after polls close at 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18.
