The five victims ranged in age from 21 to 27 and three of them — Hunter, Hong and Segura — studied at the University of Calgary.
Perras and Rathwell studied at Mount Royal University and the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) respectively.
All five died April 15 at an end-of-year gathering in northwest Calgary. The killings have been called Calgary's worst mass murder by police.
Matthew de Grood, 22, is charged with five counts of first-degree murder in their deaths and has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine if he is fit to stand trial.
More details are expected to be released next week.
