Driver, passengers sought after pedestrian run over at gas station near Chinook Mall

Calgary police are searching for a driver and several passengers after a pedestrian was run over in early November during a confrontation at a gas station near Chinook Mall.
The confrontation between several people erupted near a vehicle at the gas pumps of a Shell station at 5919 Macleod Trail S.W. around 2:40 a.m. on Nov. 2, police said in a release issued Monday.
Four people got back into a silver Jeep Compass while another person walked away.
The driver of the Jeep initially drove off then circled back, running over the pedestrian, police said.

The Jeep then left the parking lot heading south on Macleod Trail.
The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police said they'd like to speak to the occupants of the Jeep and identify the driver.
The driver is described as an Indigenous woman in her 30s with a heavy build and brown hair, police said. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black leggings and black and white low-cut Converse shoes.
