Footage released of suspected arson that damaged multiple Calgary homes as police search for clues
'Some residents lost everything,' say police as they look for information on any suspicious activity
Calgary police are looking for information on a suspected arson they say had devastating impacts on multiple families and their homes.
The fire happened last year on Dec. 3 around 4 a.m.
Police and the Calgary Fire Department were called to a house in the zero to 100 block of Nolanfield Lane N.W. The fire "extensively damaged" multiple homes, police say, and some were complete losses.
The fire was determined to be suspicious and the arson unit investigated. Police have now released two CCTV videos of the fire. Both videos show a large burst of flame in the residential area.

Police say two men were seen in the area around the time of the fire. Police say the first man has a medium build and was wearing a hooded sweater. The second man has a slim build and was wearing a white jacket, black pants and white shoes.
"This fire had devastating impacts on multiple families and their homes," said Staff Sergeant Rod Harbidge.
"Some residents lost everything, and we are asking for anyone with information to contact police. We believe someone in the community could have seen suspicious activity in the area of Nolanfield Lane prior to the fire breaking out and are hoping to speak to them."
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers.
