CCTV footage shows man robbed of cellphone on Calgary LRT
Suspect seen knocking phone out of victim's hand then stealing it before exiting at Calgary Zoo Station
Police are asking for help identifying a suspect accused of robbing a man of his phone on the Calgary LRT on Monday evening.
Surveillance video shows a man — dressed in a red and grey T-shirt, dark grey shorts, a baseball cap turned backward and running shoes — sitting on the LRT as it headed west just after 8 p.m.
He is described as Indigenous with a heavy build.
Soon after the train left the Max Bell Station, the man stands up, walks to the other end of the car and hits another man who is sitting down, knocking his glasses off and sending his cellphone flying.

There were at least four other people on the train car at the time.
In a release, police called the incident rare and said the LRT system is a safe way of getting around.
