The northbound lanes of Highway 2 near Bowden are back open after a series of crashes involving semi-tractors forced the closure for several hours Thursday morning.
Icy roads are being blamed for the crashes, which involved up to five semis.
Northbound traffic was diverted onto Highway 2A.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m., RCMP received the first call of a semi unit that had jackknifed.
Several other semi units also crashed.
