Calgary homicide police probe woman's death

Investigators are looking into the suspicious death of a young woman whose body was found at a Marlborough Park residence on the weekend, Calgary police say.

Police were called to a place in the 6100 block of 4th Avenue N.E. early Sunday morning, by another person at the house, to check on the welfare of a woman who was a guest.

When they arrived, they found the young woman was dead.

Homicide detectives searched the area for any evidence linked to the death and have been interviewing people who might have seen the woman before her death.

Police won't release any other information until an autopsy is completed.
