Calgary Flames fandom hits a fever pitch in Game 4

Hours before the puck dropped, Flames fans were effusive in their excitement about Game 4. Flags were waving, the tailgate parties were on and red jerseys could be seen in every corner of the city. Here's a glimpse of how the fans were before, during and after the game.

Hours before the puck dropped, Flames fans were effusive in their excitement about Game 4. Flags were waving, the tailgate parties were on and red jerseys could be seen in every corner of the city. Here's a glimpse of how the fans were before, during and after the game. 

By the second period the adoration of Johnny Hockey — aka John Gaudreau — had begun. It might have had something to do with the two goals he scored in the first period.  

The hard-to-miss spectator in a fluorescent yellow T-shirt garnered the attention and the annoyance in the sea of red.

With a 3-1 win to celebrate, it was time for many folks to paint the town red and indulge in a little giddiness on the Red Mile.
