Calgary police are looking for three men involved in armed robberies of prescription drugs and cash from southwest pharmacies.

The Paragon Pharmacy on the 3500 block of 14th Street S.W. was hit twice in two weeks, while its Crowchild Trail location was also robbed, said police on Tuesday.

The most recent incident happened on Sunday morning when three men entered the 14th Street store. One man went into the back, brandished a weapon and demanded drugs, while the second man demanded money. The third man appeared to be the role of lookout.

The men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and prescription drugs in a stolen, two-door black Acura. The vehicle was recovered shortly after a few blocks away.

The same store was robbed on Oct. 5 in a similar manner. In that case, only one man threatened staff, leaving with an undisclosed quantity of drugs.

The Paragon Pharmacy in the 6400 block of Crowchild Trail S.W. was also hit. On Friday, a man produced a note demanding prescription drugs. The pharmacist walked away and the man left empty handed in a black sports driven by another suspect.

Investigators released several surveillance photos they hope will help them apprehend the offenders.
