An Alberta mother has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of her two-year-old boy.

An Alberta mother has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of her two-year-old boy.
Livia Starlight, 29, who is from the Tsuu T'ina First Nation, was arrested on July 31 and appeared in court Tuesday via closed circuit television.
Traezlin Denzel Starlight died in a Calgary hospital on Sept. 25 last year after being admitted to hospital on Sept.18 with injuries.
Police have not released details about the autopsy, which was concluded in April.
RCMP led the investigation with the help of police from the reserve.
A publication ban granted after the child's death expired in January.
Starlight was convicted in 2013 of impaired driving, shoplifting, impersonating a family member, and failing to appear in court.
