Marcus is living it up as the canine ambassador at the Chateau Lake Louise.
The four-year-old yellow Labrador landed the job as director of pet relations after finishing his training with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
"Unfortunately, Marcus didn't pass the final test," said hotel spokesperson Lori Cote. "He's just a little too friendly. He likes to give kisses and play fetch and all those kinds of things — not really what you look for in a Seeing Eye dog."
So for the last three years Marcus has been keeping hotel guests company, and is even available to take a stroll around the lake.
