Tim Hortons wedding: Hockey-mad Alberta couple brew up very Canadian vows
Guests served Timbits and coffee after ceremony in Lethbridge
Greg Arlett and Adonus Wiseman may have just pulled off the most Canadian wedding of all time.
Not only did the couple get hitched inside a Tim Hortons in Lethbridge, Alta., they did it wearing rival hockey jerseys.
She's a Habs fan.
He cheers for the Oilers.
"One of us was wearing the right jersey. One of us wasn't," said groom Arlett. "That's kind of where we leave that argument so we have a happy marriage."
The pair exchanged vows in front of about 50 family and friends and several bewildered Tims customers.
"Our pastor was wearing a referee jersey and Greg and I kind of started a hockey fight. And then we did our ceremony," said Wiseman.
The couple served guests coffee and Timbits and brought in a live musician to play Stompin' Tom Connors' The Hockey Song.
The ceremony concluded with the pair exchanging jerseys.
"I took off my Habs jersey and put it on Greg... so it just kind of shows that love can conquer all," said Wiseman.
To show her love for her new husband, underneath her Canadiens jersey Wiseman revealed an Oilers jersey she had custom-made into a wedding gown.
The couple had originally wanted to get married in a hockey arena, but quickly found out they were all booked.
They say the Tim Hortons in Lethbridge was very accommodating and employees ended up celebrating with them.

The couple's wedding favours were Tim Hortons gift cards and hockey pucks that say, "The puck dropped Oct. 31, 2015. We played. We scored. Always and forever Mr. and Mrs."
The pair will head to Mexico next week for their honeymoon.
