Two people have died in an airplane crash in Mountain View County north of Calgary.
Police and fire crews were called to a downed aircraft near Range Road 285 and Township Road 312 just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Didsbury RCMP said in a release on Thursday.
Two men were found inside the ultralight aircraft.
The 69-year-old pilot and his 65-year-old passenger were declared dead on scene.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada tweeted that it is investigating the crash.
