3 men stabbed, 1 hit with bottle outside Calgary bar
Three men were stabbed and a fourth man hit on the head with a bottle outside a Calgary bar early Friday.
The four men, all in their 20s, were attacked just before 2 a.m. outside a bar in the 500th block of 17th Avenue S.W., police said in a release.
Paramedics provided advanced life support care on scene and transported all four to the Foothills Medical Center.
One of the victims was taken to hospital with critical abdominal injuries, while the other two suffered from "serious and stable" chest injuries, police said.
The fourth man suffered minor head lacerations from the bottle.
The names of the victims have not been released.
In a separate incident around the same time, police said they responded to another report of assault on Memorial Drive East. A man, whose age is unknown, was treated on the scene and taken to the Foothills Medical Center with life-threatening head injuries.
Police are investigating both incidents.
