Burns Bog development plans announced

Burns Bog could soon see major development. Plans for a theme park, new Pacific National Exhibition site, movie studios and business park were announced today.

Delta Fraser Properties, the company that owns the land, would also set aside 1200 hectares as a nature preserve.

The whole plan is subject to public hearings and rezoning approvals by the Corporation of Delta. Delta's mayor, Beth Johnson is promising a full, open and public review process.
