Year of the dragon about to roar

The celebration have already begun for the Lunar New Year, although it doesn't officially start until late Sunday night in B.C.

The rabbit will make way for the dragon as Lunar New Year kick off Sunday night, but the celebrations are already underway.

For many of Canada’s Asian communities, including the Chinese, Vietnamese and Koreans, it will be a weekend of feasting.

It’s also a time to do one’s best to appease the unstable dragon, the animal representing the coming year.

One Chinese astrologer is predicting instability all the way to the White House, with the election of a new U.S. president.
