Ethan and Olivia topped the list of popular baby names in B.C. in 2012, according to figures just released by the province's Vital Statistics Agency.
The names replaced 2011's favourites Liam and Emma at the top of the annual ranking, which is released every December for the previous year.
There were 44,270 births in B.C. in 2012, and the full range of names spanned from Aarav to Zion and Aaliyah to Zoya.
