The Victoria Vintage Fashion Expo is back for another year at Crystal Garden, where clothing, jewelry, accessories, art, furniture and other old-timey items will be sold by over 70 vendors.

The event will also feature different types of entertainment, including a rather unique fashion show.

On Saturday, Heritage Productions Victoria will be putting on a vintage fashion show where seniors will be emptying their closets and showing off clothing from various decades of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Organizer Louise Osselton has been putting these shows together for 24 years, and says the outfits always bring back memories — especially for people who remember those times.

"A very common comment is, 'Oh, my mother had one of these in green,'" Osselton told All Points West Host Robyn Burns. "Some of the elderly people will say, 'I have a picture where my mother wore something like that.' It's wonderful."

The show will include explanations of the historical backgrounds of the outfits and what they say about the times they were made in.

You can see some of the costumes from past Heritage Productions Victoria shows in the photo gallery above.
