Vancouver Pride: Fred Lee highlights all the fun on offer
Fred Lee says there are plenty of Pride activities to celebrate Vancouver's diversity and "party with purpose."
Fred Lee says there is no shortage of fun for new and returning Pride Festival participants
The Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival has grown over the years, and CBC's "Man About Town" Fred Lee has seen the progression first hand.
"It's absolutely tremendous," Lee told Our Vancouver host Gloria Macarenko.
"Who would have thought some three decades ago we'd have over 600,000 people celebrating and participating along with the LGBT community?"
Lee said there are many new events at this year's Vancouver Pride Festival, including activities suited for those who are new to Pride and those who want to avoid the crowds.
