Quinn has been riding the SkyTrain since the Expo Line first began operating 29 years ago.
"Like most people in Metro Vancouver, I tend to take it for granted," says Quinn. "I don't think very much about how it actually works."
The tour was facilitated by Danny Olsen, manager of control operations at B.C. Rapid Transit.
Join Stephen Quinn and the On the Coast team live at the Dale B. Regeher Grand Hall at SFU Surrey on Wednesday, March 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. PT.
He'll be hosting a live debate to delve into the arguments for and against a regional transportation tax.
Port Coquitlam Mayor Greg Moore will make the argument for the 'Yes' side, and Maple Ridge Mayor Nicole Read will explain why she's opposed.
