Transit referendum deadline nears for requesting ballots

The deadline to vote in Metro Vancouver's transit plebiscite is more than two weeks away, but voters still looking for a ballot only have a few days left to request one.
Elections B.C. spokesman Don Main said so far 600,000 ballots have been returned for counting.
Friday May 15 at midnight is the deadline for anyone who did not receive a voters package to request one.
All ballots must be received by Elections B.C. by Friday May 29 at 8 p.m. PT.
Translations of voting package are available in the 17 languages including Arabic, Hindi, Italian, and Vietnamese.
