Suspicious election call reports now in 9 B.C. ridings
The list of alleged election campaign dirty-trick phone calls is growing in B.C., as the CBC's Lisa Johnson reports.
Voters and opposition parties in nine ridings in B.C. are now reporting misleading phone calls during the 2011 federal election campaign, CBC News has learned.
Harassing calls were first reported in Saanich-Gulf Islands, the constituency won by Green Party leader Elizabeth May.
Since then, misleading calls have been reported in Prince George-Peace River and harassing calls in Vancouver Quadra.
Add to the list: Vancouver South; North Vancouver; Mission; Burnaby Douglas, Burnaby-New Westminster and New Westminster-Coquitlam.
The CBC’s Lisa Johnson has the details.
