Surrey stabbings send 2 men to hospital

Two young men were taken to hospital with stab wounds, after a violent altercation in Surrey on Saturday night.

The incidents happened in the area around Robin Park.

Two young men were taken to hospital with stab wounds, after a violent altercation near Robin Park in Surrey on Saturday night.

Officers arrived at the park in the 11200-block of 150 Street, to find a number of people fleeing the area shortly before midnight, according to Surrey RCMP.

There, police found an 18-year-old man suffering a stab wound to the abdomen.

While paramedics with the B.C. Ambulance Service were treating the first victim, another stabbing took place at a nearby home.

The second victim, a 21-year-old man, suffered a single stab wound to the lower back.

Police said a man in his twenties was arrested at the scene of the second stabbing.

Both victim`s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening
