Steven Tyler Aerosmith singer surprises Kelowna fans

American rock icon Steven Tyler surprised a handful of fans in Kelowna, B.C. by banging out a few bars of music on a piano in a downtown park on Monday.

Singer was in town for a concert when he stopped by to play one of the city's free pianos

American rock icon Steven Tyler surprised a handful of fans in Kelowna, B.C. by banging out a few bars of music on a piano in a downtown park on Monday.

The Aerosmith lead singer was in town for a concert at Kelowna's Prospera Place later that evening. 

He dropped by the downtown Kelowna park to play a short excerpt of the band's song Dream On at one of the city's five free pianos

Tyler stuck around for a few brief moments to chat with the small audience before leaving as quickly as he appeared.

News of the sighting quickly spread on social media.
